Jamie Spencer is a rare visitor to Dundalk this evening where an eight-race card under the lights on the Polytrack gets underway at 5pm.

It looks significant that the former champion jockey travels over for just the one ride on the Henry de Bromhead-trained Nuit in division one of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at 7.00.

The daughter of Sea The Stars, who holds an entry in the Juddmonte Irish Oaks, showed promise on debut when third to Galveston at Naas last month.

The other Irish meeting today at Tipperary goes ahead following an early morning inspection with the action commencing at 12.12pm, while Catterick also passed a precautionary inspection this morning.

The going at Tipperary is soft, yielding to soft in places, while Catterick is currently good, good to firm in places.
