Supplying Davy Russell with some compensation after a final flight fall on Mr Antolini (every chance at the time) in the opener, Static Jack careered away up the run-in for a six length verdict over Sweet Home Chicago. "He jumped a little big the last day and we were a little concerned about the rain that fell earlier today," said winning trainer Ellmarie Holden, who could hardly have made a better start to her career in this sphere.
