Murghem is set to run in the SKr1,000,000 (#75,000) Stockholm Cup International at Taby on Sunday.
Mark Johnston`s five-year-old, who will be ridden by Darryll Holland, is one of 10 final declarations for the Group Three mile-and-a-half race.
Fresh from his win in the Group Two Geoffrey Freer Stakes at Newbury last month, Murghem is likely to start hot favourite.
He aims to follow in the footsteps of previous British winners Glide Path (1995) and Harbour Dues (1997).
Murghem`s opponents include the last two winners of the race, Albaran and Inchrory.
Eric Alston`s Damalis runs in the SKr700,000 (#52,000) Taby Open Sprint Championship.
Damalis, who will be ridden by Willie Supple, aims to emulate Proud Native`s win for David Nicholls in the Group Three race last year but he faces stiff opposition.
Likely favourite is crack Norwegian sprinter Rolo Tomasi, the mount of Irish jockey Eddie Ahern.
Holland also rides Tony Newcombe`s Inver Gold in the #30,000 Listed Nickes Minneslopning, run over a mile on dirt, while Karl Burke`s Love Tune (Neil Callan) contests the #15,000 BBA Svealandlopning over five and a half furlongs on grass.
The going was soft at Taby`s most recent meeting last Sunday but the weather has been dry since and underfoot conditions should be almost perfect if the rain stays away.
