It's a Coolharbour Breeze-up in Wexford Bernadette Murphy’s Coolharbour Breeze (5/1) took the two mile three furlong handicap chase by the scruff of the neck four fences from home and the result was never in doubt thereafter. Declan Queally pushed the blinkered seven-year-old mare to the front and the pair powered away from the field for a comfortable four length win over 14/1 shot Close Review ridden by John Cullen. 4/1 joint favourite Western Island took third placed prize money with Robbie Power in the saddle. Trainer Bernadette Murphy, who trains locally in Enniscorthy, is in England visiting her sister, but her brother Jerry Murphy said: “The last day here she just tired in the last 100 yards. Declan rode her the last day and knows her well. She jumps from fence to fence. Judge Roy Bean, the other 4/1 joint favourite, came home fifth. Miss Murphy’s other hose in the race – Benefit Scheme – was well supported from 25/1 in the morning and 14/1 at the track down to an SP of 12/1. The mare, carrying bottom weight, finished eighth.
