It's Thiswaycadeaux for McCreery and Crosse Thiswaycadeaux relished the seven-furlong trip in Cork on offer in the apprentice handicap as she delivered for Willie McCreery. She was switched out from fifth on the rail by Nathan Crosse and the pair made sustained headway to hit the front two furlongs from home. She soon went for home and gor first run on Tennesse Waltz. Crosse had a willing partner as she saw off Tennesse Waltz (8/1) by a length and a quarter at 6/1. Gunmaker kept on for third at 5/1. Willie McCreery said: “The rain came for her and that’s all she needed was a bit of ease in the ground. “Nathan gave her a lovely ride as they went too fast. She’s a good ride for an apprentice. “She’s a hardy tough filly and the missus (owner) will be happy!” Additional reporting by Alan Magee
