The ultra-consistent Ishebayorgrey recorded his third win of the year as he took the Racecourse Of The Year Handicap under Colin Keane for Pat Martin and owner Raymond Moore.
The son of Clodovil won a handicap at Dundalk in April and was second on his next two outings before winning again at Fairyhouse earlier this month.
He was third to Wardell at Gowran on Sunday and turned out again quickly he was sent off the 3/1 second favourite (from 7/2).
Settled in third he improved into second approaching the straight and was ridden in pursuit of the leader from the two furlong pole.
He got to the front over 50 yards from the finish and kept on from there to win by half a length.
The front-running Zunera (4/1) dead-heated for second with Glimmer Of Peace (13/2).
Zunera was ridden by Sean Corby for Mick Halford while Billy Lee was aboard Glimmer Of Peace for Willie McCreery. Cailin Mor was sent off the well-backed 5/2 favourite (from 7/2 on-course and from 6's this morning) but she could only manage a disappointing seventh under Shane Foley for Mick Halford.
Pat Martin said afterwards: "Colin always felt that he was getting there, and he's a horse with great resolution.
"He has an entry at Bellewstown over five furlongs but I'd say we'll give him a break now.
"He's behaving like a colt in the parade ring but it's probably more to do with having a good few runs in a short space of time."
STEWARDS REPORTS
S. Foley, rider of Cailin Mor, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her action near the finish and consequently was eased down.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cailin Mor, trained by M.Halford, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
