Imposing Supreme in charge for Gibney Imposing Supreme availed of a drop in class to grab his fifth career success in the 47-70 handicap over an extended seven furlongs in Bellewstown. The 5/1 shot tracked the leaders and was sent on by Gavin Ryan to lead a quarter of a mile from home. The seven-year-old gelding was tough under the 10st1lb weight and galloped home by two and a-quarter lengths from Breezy Zoff (13/2). The Bog Bank, 7/2jf, was a neck further back in third. Trainer Tom Gibney said: "The left-handed wasn't a worry, he had run well in Killarney a few times. We thought the track would suit him and we were very confident of a big run today. "He ran well in the Curragh the last day, but he just ended up having to come from a bit far back. It takes him a while to get up and get going. "Yes, 100 per cent that (Galway) will be the next stop. We'll see if the handicapper gives him a chance. "He's a fantastic horse to do anything with and is a real yard favourite, he's a real pet and a pleasure to have around the place."
