The beautifully-bred I'm Yours stepped-up on her Navan debut second placing to justify odds-on favouritism in the opening fillies maiden at Leopardstown.
Sherama and Tirghra tried their cases in the straight but Pat Smullen always looked happy in the Moyglare Stud Farm silks and eventually prevailed by two and a quarter lengths from the latter.
Winning trainer Dermot Weld said: "She did what we expected her to do. I wanted her to win a two-year-old maiden so next year she can go straight into Group company.
"She could go for the Guineas Trial here next spring and she's very adaptable ground-wise. "Physically she's very strong and that got her through the ground. She'll handle good ground though – every bit as well.
"Pat said that ground actually blunted her speed a bit. It took a bit a getting but her strength got her through."
Smullen added: "The wind is making it very difficult and it was blowing her over on to the rail. It's very difficult conditions for two-year-olds."
The ground after race one was changed from soft to soft (soft to heavy in places). (GC & EM)
