Horgan completes short price double on Andreas Hugh Horgan landed a short priced double for boss Joseph O'Brien as San Andreas justified a very short price in the seven-furlong conditions race at Dundalk. The 1/20 shot made all and had his two rivals at work early in the straight. Horgan asked his mount to quicken away inside the final furlong and he soon asserted to post a cosy six-length win over Point Gellibrand. It was a sixth course success for the Dark Angel gelding. Horgan said afterwards: "He knows this place well  and he's so consistent. "Seven is his optimum trip and he put it to bed pretty easily when we turned in. "He definitely gave me a good feel. There's a bit of improvement still in him, he's carrying a lot of weight. "We have a bit to look forward to for the summer again." Assistant Shane Crosse also revealed that it was the Annus Mirabilis Syndicate's 99th winner. (Quotes by Michael Graham)
