Her Ladyship certainly didn't go unbacked in the Tote.ie Median Auction Maiden in Sligo and her supporters were able to cheer her strong finish Spanish Cara the 8/11 favourite, held the ideal position tracking in second behind Silky Suilleabhain and was pushed into the lead a quarter of a mile out by Dylan Browne McMonagle.
She was in charge approaching the final furlong, however, Colin Keane and Her Ladyship were finishing to good effect. Her Ladyship collared the favourite in the closing stages and went on by a length and a-half at 6/1 having been available at 14s in the morning.
Spanish Cara had to settle for the runner-up berth for the second time in a row having occupied it in Dundalk last month. Meanwhile, Goldrush Kid kept on for third at 6/1.
Andrew McNamara said: "She's a very straightforward filly, likes her work and likes her racing. She's very genuine.
"She had a nice run in Cork in which she ran a bit green. It turned out quite a good maiden, a lot of winners came out of it.
"Colin says she'll be better over a furlong further.
"We'll make a plan from here and see what the owners want to do. There's a good bunch of them involved (Rathconrath Racing Club). They've had a few runners but that's their first winner, so hopefully there'll be a few more to come."
Her Ladyship built upon a mid-division effort in Cork on debut in July last year.
Ronan Whelan was unseated from Gift Of Life who veered sharply left leaving the stalls. He was quickly up on his feet.
