Heffernan doubles up on 80/1 newcomer for Denis Cullen Charlisse recorded a shock win on debut in the William Hill Lengthen Your Odds Maiden to complete a double for Seamie Heffernan on the evening at Dundalk. The Denis Cullen-trained daughter of Camacho was sent off at 80/1 on her belated first outing but was never too far from the pace and struck the front well over a furlong out. The outsider showed some greenness but stayed on really well inside the final furlong to deny the 1/4 favourite Bold Ribb, who held every chance, by half a length with Show Her The Money a further three and a quarter lengths away in third. Heffernan was on the mark earlier aboard the odds-on Catherine Of Siena (4/6) in the opening juvenile sprint. Cullen said, "We're delighted, we always thought a bit of her at home. Her homework was very good and it was just a matter of things falling right for us on the night. Seamie gave her a great ride and I'm delighted he took the ride on her. “We'll see what happens now, I own a half share with Vanessa Teehan so we'll have a chat with Vanessa. Maybe she'll be sold after that. “I'm delighted that it worked out tonight, it's great.” Quotes by Gary Carson
