Ger Flynn rightly gave praise to his employer, trainer, Jim Bolger, after Heavy Weight came back to win the Book Your Christmas Party At Dundalk Handicap off a mammoth 1057 day break.
After Rory Cleary's mount had short-headed Back On Top Flynn said: "It was a great performance from the trainer after three years off.
"That's his third win here and we're delighted to get him back on track.
"He was only getting going at the end and a mile is probably his ideal trip."
Heavy Weight was a 10/1 shot and he caught 7/2 joint favourite Back On Top (matched at odds of 1.06 in running on a leading exchange) on the line.
