After Michael Halford doubled his score on the evening at Dundalk with Indrahar (4/5 favourite) in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, he said: "She got the job done which was important. She's a very straight forward and honest filly but just doesn't want extremes of ground. It was too heavy at Listowel and another day I was thinking of running her at Naas and it was very fast."
Shane Foley rode both Halford winners, an hour earlier getting the job done on the Aga Khan's Kadra in the 6.05.
Here the Godolphin-owned Indrahar stepped up on previous third and second placings to short head the sweet-travelling second favourite Sufoof
"The steady pace didn't suit and it developed into a bit of a sprint. She'd appreciate another furlong but we took a chance. I've a few more two-year-olds to run and will try to keep them apart. She won't run again this year," added Halford.
"We have about 20 horses in total for the all-weather at Dundalk up to Christmas."
