Sagitta 2000 Guineas favourite Hemingway will miss Saturday`s Prix de la Salamandre at Longchamp, it was revealed today.
The unbeaten juvenile, trained by Aidan O`Brien, is set to have a week off due to an infection.
O`Brien said today: 'Hemingway has an infection in a hock and his blood wasn`t right.
'He`ll have a week off now.'
However, the Ballydoyle trainer will be doubly represented in the Group One contest by Railway Stakes winner Honours List and King Charlemagne.
Michael Kinane rides Honours List while Olivier Peslier steps in for the ride on King Charlemagne.
