Jack Kearney drove him home to get up by half a length from the game 6/1 runner-up. Simply Sideways (13/2) was another three-parts of a length back in third. This continued trainer John Murphy's good form. Assistant trainer George Murphy said: "The horses are in great shape and he was good. Jack gave him a lovely ride, gave him a chance to get into it and they went through the line very well.
