The Stewards interviewed Stephen Gray, rider of Operation Houdini placed 2nd, concerning the use of the whip in the closing stages of this race.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Stephen Gray had used his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his recent record into account, suspended him for four race days. Furthermore the rider was advised to attend RACE for tuition on the proper use of the whip.
