'Good day at the office' for flying Flynn Trainer Pat Flynn completed a Wexford double today as his well-related Bite That (8/1) scored on seasonal reappearance under jockey Alex Harvey, in the Racing Again Friday 4th April Handicap Chase. Today’s earlier Irish winners included siblings to Cheltenham festival-winners Special Tiara and Mrs Milner, with Bite That himself being a half-brother to Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Might Bite. Carrying the colours of Flynn’s wife and joint-owner Gavin O’Mahoney, Bite That was produced from mid-field to lead at the second-last, and comfortably held runner-up Da Big Fella by eight lengths. Delighted Flynn, earlier successful with Duke Otto, reported “I could get used to this! He had the form to win but still had to go out and do it. It was a good day at the office and hopefully he can win again." Bite That had finished runner-up on four previous starts but, returning from a 111-day break, drifted markedly to 8/1, with Flynn adding “I don't back horses, so I couldn't care less what price he was. My horses do the best they can, like always." Flynn's exciting former inmate Windbeneathmywings had been antepost favourite for last week's Cheltenham Bumper, but was withdrawn injured ten days prior to Wednesday's race. Quotes from Donal Murphy
