Golden Plan works in the 'last' Golden Plan and Kate Harrington won the final race of the calendar year as they hacked up in the ladies bumper at Tramore. The winner showed a good turn of foot to demolish his rivals in the final furlong drawing clear to win as he liked by five and a half lengths. Favourite backers were out of luck again as Paul Fahey's point-to-point winner paid 6/1. Silverpockets showed her first piece of meaningful form as she chased the winner home at 16/1 while 4/5 favourite Waylander had to settle for third. Paul Fahey said of the six-year-old: "He's owned by my mother and she's not too well. She hasn't been racing for a while and that will cheer her up. "We worked three horses a fortnight ago and all three seemed to go well, but it had us wondering. [He'llberemembered won at Down Royal on St Stephen's Day and Lots Of Memories was second on the same card]. "He won his point-to-point three weeks ago. We'll go for a winners bumper and wait to go hurdling next season. "I was quietly confident coming here today."
