Following 17mm of rain since declarations, the ground at Naas is now soft to heavy. Racing gets under way at 1.28pm and the Madrid Handicap and Devoy Stakes are the most valuable events on the eight-race programme.
At Limerick, after 2mm of rain in the last 24 hours, the ground remains soft on the hurdles track and yielding to soft on the chase track. The first is off at 1.43pm and the Grade 3 Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase is the feature while the concluding Listed bumper for four-year-olds, sponsored by bookmaker Kevin McManus, is the most valuable contest on a seven-race card.
A dry day is forecast for both meetings.
