Going update

The going at both Leopardstown and Limerick remains largely unchanged ahead of the final session of their four-day Christmas Festival meetings this afternoon.

Leopardstown is described as good to yielding following 4mm of rain overnight, and the Grade 1 Istabraq Festival Hurdle is the highlight on a seven race card which begins at 12.25pm.

Limerick also had 4mm of rain overnight and the ground remains heavy, with a seven race card at the Greenmount Park venue getting underway at 12.35pm.

Racegoers should wrap up well as temperatures are unlikely to get above 9C, and it will feel alot colder in the strong chilly wind. Some showers are expected.

Meanwhile the going at Cork ahead of their meeting next Monday is now soft to heavy, heavy in places on the chase course, following 10mm of rain overnight.
