It is Friends Of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch day at Headquarters and the ground on the straight course is good, good to yielding in places while the going is good on the round course. Six yards of fresh ground is in use.
Some 5-10mm of rain is forecast throughout the day.
The first of eight races is off at 1.30pm, while the €600,000 Irish Cesarewitch is at 4.25pm. Joseph O'Brien and Dylan Browne McMonagle teamed up to land a massive pot with Apples And Bananas in the Goffs Million at the Curragh yesterday and have the current favourite in the Irish Cesarewitch in Nurburgring who was this year's Galway Hurdle hero.
