The ground at Navan remains Heavy following 2mm of rain since the latest update yesterday. There is a risk of further showers and strong winds later today.
The first of eight races gets under way at 1.20pm. Francin is very solid for the maiden hurdle at 2.20pm. Willie Mullins' charge is 2/5 from 8/13 on the back of a third place at Leopardstown which has been well franked.
In the preceding race, the Grade 2 Ladbrokes Ireland Boyne Hurdle, there has been some support for Gordon Elliott's Cracking Smart who is 18/1 from 25s.
Another backed at big odds is bottom-weight Double Portrait in the three mile handicap chase at 4.35pm. He is 16/1 from 25/1.
The eight-year-old gelding won under Danny Mullins in Thurles last month and the pair are reunited again.
