The ground at the Curragh has further eased to yielding (on round course) and yielding to soft (in the straight) after 10.2.mm of rain in the last 24 hours.
There will be seven metres of fresh ground on the round course and on the far side of the straight course today. Anna May Wong is all the rage for the opening nursery at 2.15pm. Andrew Oliver's filly has shortened from 12/1 to 7/2. There are three non runners in this race though - Lyin Eyes, Joyce Compton and Da Capo Dandy. Club Wexford s odds have halved to 4/1 for the apprentice handicap. Jim Bolger's charge is partnered by Daniel Redmond.
Punters want to be with John Oxx's Nonetheless in the concluding mile and a half fillies' handicap, as she trades at 4/1 from 11/1. The three-year-old won her maiden in Galway when last seen at the end of July.
