Germany makes all in Curragh finale Made In Germany made all to win the last at the Curragh this afternoon, the Irish Field INH Flat Race, under Patrick Mullins for his father Willie. The Gigginstown House Stud owned gelding finished second in a point-to-point at Largy in April of last year when trained by Warren Ewing and he was subsequently sold for €100,000 at the Goffs Punchestown National Hunt Sale last year. He won on his racecourse debut at Navan in February beating Kaninski by a length and he followed today, making all and asserting inside the final furlong to score by four and a quarter lengths from the 6/4 favourite Concordin in second under Kevin Power for Robert Tyner. Egyptian Warrior (14/1) kept on well to take third a further three parts of a length behind under Sarah O’Brien for her father Aidan. Patrick Mullins said afterwards; "He improved an awful lot for the good ground. To be honest I didn’t think he would be up to that as he is more of a stayer." Additional reporting by Gary Carson
