Generator City, right, takes over from Summer Hill at the last© Photo Healy Racing
Denis Hogan enjoyed a double at Ballinrobe and forged new alliances with jockeys Phillip Enright and Trevor Ryan. Generator City closed up on Summer Hill in the Investec Wealth Rated Novice Hurdle and picked him off at the last.
The six-year-old gelding went on by two and three quarter lengths at 7/1.
Runner-up Summer Hill was an 8/1 chance. Soldier At War the 9/10 favourite, could make no headway in fourth to be beaten more than 25 lengths.
Phillip Enright said: "He missed the third last, but otherwise he jumped well.
â"We went a good gallop and that suited him as he stays well.â
â"That's my first winner for Denis and I'm delighted to get one for him."
Trevor Ryan had his first winner for Hogan on Al Sakb in race two.
