Keen-going Future Prospect (11/8) ran away from her rivals for an emphatic success on racecourse debut in the fillies bumper at Fairyhouse.

She brought up a four-timer for Willie Mullins after the victories of Majborough (1/1f), Judicieuse Allen (7/1) and Inn At The Park (6/1).

She was soon at the front for Patrick Mullins and had her rivals in trouble approaching the final furlong.

From there, she displayed a ready turn of foot that swept her nine lengths clear of runner-up Galileo Springs (9/1). Swing Davis the 6/5 favourite, rounded out the placings in third.

Future Prospect took a point-to-point in March for Denis Murphy before transferring to Mullins.

Jockey Mullins said: “She was lugging left a bit all the way. I wanted to go down the inside, but I tried not to fight with her and we ended up in the middle of the track which was fine.

“She settled in front even though we were going a good gallop, and I was pleasantly surprised how well she picked up.

“I’d imagine we’ll look to the DRF with her for the mares’ bumper. She might be a slightly easier ride going the other direction.

“I think she’s the first Order Of St George (sire) that we’ve had and I wouldn’t mind a few more of them if they were like that.”

Paddy Power cut Future Prospect from 33/1 to 14/1 for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.
