Nectaris dominated off the front in the Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden for juveniles in Galway.

Shane Foley sent her into an early lead over this seven-furlong trip and the Sea The Moon filly travelled kindly a furlong and a half down.

She was ridden to go and win her race at the furlong pole and soon closed it out.

The 6/4 favourite hit the line three lengths clear of Stormy Duchess (8/1). Zoffman was a head back in third at 9/2.

Jessica Harrington said: “She was good. The little bit of an ease in the ground helped her.

“Tipperary was very quick and she was like a cat on a hot tin roof down there (when third in a four-runner race).

“Shane said he'd like her to relax a bit more but she is a forward-going filly.

“She did that well. I'd say she'll step up into a Listed race and maybe she'll get a mile.

“Running down the hill here she was tanking with Shane and then she got to the straight and was having a good look around.

“A bit more dig in the ground will suit her.”
