Four on the day for red-hot Joseph Joseph O’Brien recorded his fourth winner of the day as he guided the 5/4 favourite Beach Of Falesa to victory in the Killarney Avenue/Munster Joinery Handicap for his father Aidan (third winner of the day for him). O’Brien Junior had earlier recorded a double at Dundalk aboard George Vancouver and Mars (both of which were for his father) while he repeated the dose at Killarney this evening as he won on his only two rides (his other winner being Happy Anniversary who was also returned the 5/4 favourite). He arrived in Killarney at around 6:30pm via chopper having rode in the last race in Dundalk at 4:55pm. The winning 3yo daughter of Dylan Thomas was narrowly beaten at Roscommon last Monday but she atoned for that defeat at Leopardstown on Thursday where she ran out an easy winner of a handicap over 1m 4f. Sent off the 5/4 favourite for this evening's contest over 1m 3f, she raced in third for much of the race and travelled well from two furlongs out. She was ridden and improved to lead over a furlong from home and she stayed on well from there to score by a comfortable length and a quarter. Equity Swap for Tommy Stack and Wayne Lordan finished second at 7/2 having being backed from his opening show of 6/1 while the second favourite at 7/4, Vedani was a further half a length back in third under Johnny Murtagh for John Oxx. Winning rider Joseph O’Brien said afterwards: "She is a strong traveller and they went slow which suited her. She is improving with racing." Yesterday Aidan & Joseph combined to record a treble at Fairyhouse while they won the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris with Imperial Monarch at Longchamp on Saturday. (On-course reporting by Alan Magee)
