Flynn out of hospital

Jockey Lenny Flynn has been discharged from Tralee General Hospital following a heavy fall in the opening maiden hurdle at Tralee yesterday.

Flynn received a fall Suburu Blue at the second flight and was later transferred to hospital but speaking today, Turf Club Doctor Walter Halley mentioned "Lenny suffered abdominal injuries and at least one, maybe two fractured ribs."

Flynn, who had ridden 40+ winners as an amateur before turning professional in the last two weeks, was discharged from hospital today and took some time to come racing.
