To say Analifet was fleet of foot in the opening Ballymore GAA Christmas Fair 3-y-o Hurdle would be an understatement, and the French-import was impressive in justifying heavy market support under Ruby Walsh at Punchestown.
As Walsh's father Ted might say, Willie Mullins' Gigginstown House Stud runner had her rivals on bended knee from a fair way out. The 1/3 shot had the race won when quick as lightening again at the last and in the end she accounted for her stable companion Noble Inn by nine lengths.
Mullins disclosed: "She did today what she's been showing at home. She's very sharp and a strong mare and we put ear-plugs in today.
"I'd imagine we'll be looking at Fairyhouse in a few weeks for her or Leopardstown at Christmas.
"There is also a listed fillies race at Aintree in a few weeks.
"She's been doing good work at home and if she can improve I wouldn't be afraid to bring her anywhere."

Meanwhile Bobby McNally's first spin back after a long break from race riding, went well, with his mount Moss Street taking the third spot. (AM & EM)
