Flanagan doubles up with Mackenzie Eoin Doyle, so often the man to follow at Tramore, sent out another winner at the south-east track when Ingleby Mackenzie ran out a game victor in the two-mile handicap hurdle. The 13/8 favourite was produced to lead at the second last by Sean Flanagan, who was completing a double on the card. Island Villa soon threw down a strong challenge on his outer but Ingleby Mackenzie found plenty on the run-in to record a half-length success. The winner had been runner-up on his last outing at Wexford having previously been fifth on his return from a break at Down Royal earlier in May. Flanagan said: "Things didn't go his way in Down Royal, he got bashed about a little bit. I think he might have thought about it a little bit in Wexford. "Things went his way today. They didn't go mad quick early, it took me a while to get him settled, but he has gone away and done it well enough in the end. He deserved that." (Quotes by Donal Murphy)
