Bucanero Fuerte, Givemethebeatboys and Moss Tucker fly the flag for Ireland on Merseyside in the Group 1 Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock on Saturday, while Navan hosts a competitive card in Ireland.

Vincent Finegan and Stephen Harris offer up their idea of the winners at decent value.

Vincent Finegan’s Navan tips

Keilah (nap), Saturday 17:10 Navan

Those who backed Keilah (12/1 - 3/1) at Cork last time could get their money back here. That was her first start for Willie McCreery and she was unlucky in running, getting no run in the straight, and was only beaten a little over two lengths. Off an unchanged rating here she should be hard to beat.

Limencello Lady, Saturday 15:25 Navan

This 3-y-o filly is related to a number of multiple winners and should be capable of winning off her current rating of 52. She has run two of her best races at this course and it looks like the stiff five furlongs here will be ideal if she puts her best foot forward.

Stephen Harris’ Haydock Tips

Jasour, Saturday 3.35 Haydock, Sprint Cup

Clive Cox’s classy sprinter has won 3 of his 8 career starts so far, and will relish the cut in the ground expected at Haydock for this valuable Group 1 prize. He impressed in a Group 3 on good to soft ground at Ascot in May at a time when the yard was quiet, and shaped a lot better than the bare result after missing the break at Newmarket last time out.

Clove Hitch (nap), Saturday 13:15 Haydock

Andrew Balding’s progressive performer created a deep impression when winning by 8l at Newbury in a warm novice in June, and she can handle this jump up into Group 3 company (with eased ground expected to suit over this stiff mile and loads more to come after just five career starts). The top class Oisin Murphy is booked for the ride with the yard flying (a remarkable 18 winners in the last fortnight), which certainly increases confidence she can win again (excuses for her fifth in testing ground at Sandown last time out).

If Not Now, Saturday 2.25 Haydock

Ralph Beckett’s stayer remains open to improvement since undergoing a gelding operation in the winter, and is worth forgiving a lesser effort at Epsom last time out (rough race there and previous reappearance at Lingfield was very promising).
