The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately 3 furlongs from the finish involving Persian City ridden by Mr. Patrick Mullins and Supreme Dolly ridden by Mr.Ciaran Fennessy, where it appeared Persian City was checked when attempting to pass on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. Ciaran Fennessy had ridden improperly and therefore suspended him from riding for 7 racedays.
