Feane doubles up as Farragher gets off the mark Six Silver Lane gave jockey Adam Farragher his first winner and a double on the Dundalk card for trainer John Feane. The Dundalk specialist registered his ninth win on the Polytrack and 14th overall with this success. He raced in sixth place for Farragher as the field swept past the three furlong pole in this extended mile and a quarter handicap. The 10-year-old was ridden to challenge in the final quarter of a mile and hit the front with over a furlong to race. The 8/1 chance was kept up to his work to account for Ar Eagla Na Heagla (33/1) by half a length. Duke Of Waspington at 9/2 came in third, a further two and a half lengths back. “I was delighted he got his old head in front, especially for Adam as well as he's been beaten two noses (a nose and a short head) on him,” John Feane said. “He was beating himself up over it so I didn't have to! It's great and I'm delighted he's won for him. “He's a great old horse, he's an old warrior.” Feane scored earlier on the card with Have A Nice Day (10/1). Additional reporting by Gary Carson
