Plenty of non-runners (22 so far at Leopardstown and 10 at Limerick) on the two Irish cards today and, unfortunately, Fastorslow is amongst them.
Martin Brassil's dual Grade 1 winner has been taken out of the Savills Chase at Leopardstown due to the ground which is Soft, Soft to Heavy in places on the chase track following 11mm of rain in the last last 24 hours. It's Heavy on the hurdles track.
Janidil (temperature) and Envoi Allen (change in going) also miss the Savills with eight remaining in the line-up. Galopin Des Champs is vying for favouritism in the revised market at around 7/4 along with Gerri Colombe for whom the ground has certainly come right, and Drinmore/Irish Grand National winner I Am Maximus is next in at 7/1.
It's set to be windy with bright spells through Thursday and Friday and a small chance of blustery showers. Daytime temperatures of around 9C.
No surprise that Limerick's going is described as Heavy following 10mm of rain in the last 24hrs.
There is the possibility of 2-3mm (approx) of rain prior to racing this morning, turning mainly dry into this afternoon/evening.
