Kieren Fallon has been drafted in to join Kevin Manning and James Doyle on the Great Britain and Ireland team for the Shergar Cup at Ascot on Saturday.

Fallon replaces Richard Hughes who is riding at Newmarket that afternoon where he has been booked for the mount on Baby Bush in the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes.

Johnny Murtagh was also unavailable for the 'home' team as he is expected to be in action at Haydock.

Europe's team is made up of Frankie Dettori, Gerald Mosse and Ioritz Mendizabal while Gary Stevens, Yasunari Iwata and Joao Moreira participate for the Rest Of the World team.

Hayley Turner is missing from the Girls team this year due to breaking her ankle in a fall. Dublin-born Cathy Gannon, Lisa Allpress and Rosie Napravnik represent that team.

The jockeys ride in six races on Saturday and score points for their team according to their finishing positions.

The Rest Of the World team won last year's renewal.
