Fairyhouse was found to be still unfit for racing following an early morning inspection, although all is not yet lost as officials plan to have another look at the Co. Meath course at 10.30am.

Frost is the problem after a series of nights of freezing temperatures but that situation is steadily improving today.

The first on a seven race card at Fairyhouse is scheduled to get undeway at 1.30pm.

Meanwhile all the jump racing in Britain is off today after Ffos Las this morning joined Sandown and Wetherby as victims of the cold spell.
