O'moore Park quickened away impressively on the run to the last to make it a four-timer for Willie Mullins at Fairyhouse this afternoon.
Paul Townend, completing a treble for himself, was in the plate on the 8/11 shot and made all the running in the Treo Eile Maiden Hurdle, run over just shy of two-and-a-half miles.
The Walk In The Park gelding was asked for an effort before the final flight and soon asserted, galloping on strongly on the run-in to score by nine lengths from Lucky Lyreen
O'moore Park had finished third on his return from an absence here last month, over two-miles-seven.
Townend said:- “He benefitted from the run the last day which knocked the freshness out of him and brought him on.
“He’s a chaser — he’s no respect for a hurdle when he meets one wrong.
“On that ground to pick up like he did when I gave him a squeeze at the back of the last was nice. He’s progressing away and is going to be a chaser.
“I think he can go further.”
Betfair and Paddy Power made the winner a 33/1 shot (from 66/1) for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle.
