Robin On The Hill benefitted from an enterprising Mark Enright ride, as she made all in the concluding Leinster Leader Mares Handicap Hurdle.
Fifth on her most recent start at Limerick over Christmas, the seven-year-old daughter of Robin Des Pres was sent off a 5/1 chance today.
Soon in front and clear, the Aidan Fogarty trained bay was pushed along from two out as Iknowwhereiamnow reduced the deficit.
However, Robin On The Hill proved game in front, and kept up the gallop from the last, going on to score by three and a quarter lengths.
The aforementioned Iknowwhereiamnow (6/1) finished second under Luke Dempsey for his father Philip, while Citizen Al (11/1) was another five and a half lengths back in third. Stucker Hill was sent off the 4/1 favourite, and she fell four out.
"She probably needed the run in Limerick the last day," said Fogarty, who trains the winner for his father Joe.
"Mark gave her a brilliant ride and I'm delighted.
"We made the running with her in Limerick and she just got tired after the last hurdle.
"It was Mark's idea to bounce her out and make the running. She's very free and we were dropping her right in and having her last all the other runs.
"She was very free, would come past a few horses and latch on. She'd be gone past horses in two strides so we just said we'd jump her out and see how she goes. It worked anyway.
"We'll look for something similar. She actually won before (at Wexford last July) but lost the race over me being stupid and giving her a worm dose when I shouldn't have."
