Gordon Elliott launches a five pronged attack on the UK today with four runners at Ayr and one on the all-weather at Wolverhampton.

The Co Meath handler saddles two of the five runners in the opening Mares Novice Hurdle over two miles at Ayr.

His Mae's Choice is going for her fourth win in-a-row and her third on the track. She will prove hard to beat with Jason Maguire in the saddle.

His other runner is the former John Oxx trained Narjawa.

The daughter of Marju won her maiden at Sligo over 1m 2f last August and then put in a poor effort at Roscommon on heavy ground in September.

She was then sold to Patrick Tomney for €21,000 at the Goffs Sales in November.

Thirty minutes later Elliott’s third runner of the day Don't Back Down lines up for the 2m 4f Novice Hurdle.

This Gigginstown House Stud owned gelding will be ridden by Davy Russell (only ride of the day) and having won his maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse last time out he will be expected to follow up here.

Elliott's last runner at Ayr comes in the 2:35 a Novice Chase over 3m 1f.

Eight Is My Number will face just two rivals on his second start over fences but he certainly won’t have it all his own way with Lie Forrit and Blenhiem Brook providing stiff opposition.

Face Facts is Elliott's final runner of the day at 6:00 in the last at Wolverhampton.

This fellow won over 1m 5f at the course on Saturday evening and will be well fancied to make it two in-a-row over a furlong less under Liam Keniry.
