Trainer Gordon Elliott recorded a double at Navan today as his Jury Duty landed the Garlow Cross Handicap Hurdle under jockey Jack Kennedy.
Kennedy was prominent on the son of Well Chosen throughout and moved him to the front before the second last. From there the pair recorded a a comfortable win over Go Darsi Go
Afterwards Elliott stated “he's a grand honest horse and will probably jump a fence in time.
“He's owned by bunch of local lads (Sideways Syndicate) beside me at home, so it's nice to keep the job going for them.
“I'd say Thurles didn't suit him and the track was probably too sharp for him.”
Elliott was earlier successful with the Bryan Cooper ridden General Principle
