Elliott & Kennedy on the mark with Delegate Delegate provided Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy with yet another winner when taking the 188BET Rated Novice Hurdle at Roscommon. The Gigginstown-owned 5/1 chance, winner of a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan last month, was prominent throughout and driven clear by Kennedy on the run-in. The son of Robin Des Champs had four and a half lengths to spare over 11/4 favourite Tesseract at the line, with Weather Watch another five lengths back in third. Elliott’s assistant Olly Murphy said, “He has promised a lot but has been a bit disappointing. “He'll get his act together jumping fences before too long, and maybe he is just starting to mature. “He is a gorgeous-looking big horse and may be just coming to himself.
