Easy for Robin as she leads home Mullins 1, 2, 3 Robin De Carlow ran out an easy winner of the BetVictor Novice Chase, leading home a 1, 2, 3 for Willie Mullins. Successful on her debut over fences at Kilbeggan last month, the daughter of Robin Des Champs was well-fancied to follow-up this evening, going off the even money favourite in the colours of the Supreme Horse Racing Club. Settled towards rear by David Mullins, the six-year-old victor came through to lead from the third last and went clear after the next, keeping on strongly to score by six lengths. Brahma Bull (5/1) finished second under Jonathan Burke, while Pont Aven was another two and three parts of a length back in third. The winning rider said afterwards: "She did it well and Willie is great with these little mares. They all have lower marks over hurdles but go on to be better over fences and he does a fair job getting them black-type. "I couldn't fault her jumping, she did that easy and I'd imagine she could go to Galway now. "I didn't miss too many winners (through a recent injury), nothing too important anyway, and I had to give my collarbone time to heal as it was the third time breaking it. We're back now."
