Honor Oak completed a 120/1 treble for Shane Foley (earlier won on Rezeki and Golden Raven as she ran out a very easy winner of the first divide of the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Handicap.
The Tom Hogan trained daughter of Zebedee ran well to finish fifth on her handicap debut at Limerick last Saturday and she was sent off an 8/1 chance this evening.
Settled in mid-division she cruised into contention turning into the straight and hit the front a furlong and a half from home.
She was briefly pushed along inside the final furlong and soon stretched clear, coming home an eased down four and a half length victor in the colours of John Doran. Best Kept Secret (5/1) finished second under Donnacha O'Brien for his father Aidan while New Direction (who finished ahead of the winner at Limerick last Saturday) was a further half a length back in third under Ronan Whelan for Jim Bolger at 4/1.
The hat-trick seeking Coach Bombay was sent off the 9/4 favourite and he attempted to make all.
He was still in front with two furlongs to race but faded under pressure and came home a disappointing thirteenth.
Shane Foley said in the aftermath: "It's been a great night. Any night you get one is good so to get three is great!
"She had a nice run in Killarney and got bogged down in the ground in Limerick . It probably wasn't the strongest race but she enjoyed the surface and it was the ideal trip for her."
STEWARDS REPORT
F.M. Berry, rider of Coach Bombay trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount weakened in the home straight.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Coach Bombay, trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
