Easy Peasy made a very impressive racecourse debut when quickening clear inside the final furlong to win for David Harry Kelly in the James Collins Memorial INH Flat Race at Killarney.
A half-sister to multiple winners, both on the flat and over jumps, the four-year-old travelled easily into the race under Adam Ryan but looked set to be challenged by Can't Resist It at the furlong pole.
However, the latter had no more to give and weakened into fourth, while both Dancing Dame and Thegraveyardbookie emerged from the pack to stay on close home.
Despite their efforts, neither would get to the Mrs Bridget Hanbury owned winner who proved far too strong on the evening.
Harry Kelly said: “We were very hopeful coming here but you never know until you run. She’s a very smart filly and I’m very thankful to the Hanbury family.
“They have been good clients of mine and bred this filly as well.
“Adam said the plan was to hold on a bit longer but the race fell apart in front.”
