Easter gets deserved Listed win to her name After finishing third on her last three starts in Listed company Easter (5/1) got a deserved big race win to her name as she took the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Hurry Harriet Stakes. The Aidan O'Brien (quick double following the promotion of Dancing On Air) trained bay was settled behind the leaders and was sixth at the halfway stage. She made progress into third from three furlongs out and was ridden to challenge with two furlongs left to race. She hit the front over a furlong from home and kept on well from there to score by two lengths under Seamie Heffernan. Stellar Glow (6/1), who led and disputed, finished second under Kevin Manning for Jim Bolger while My Titania (9/2), who also led and disputed, was a further half a length back in third under Declan McDonogh for John Oxx. Afternoon Sunlight was sent off the 5/2 favourite and she could only manage fifth under Pat Smullen for Dermot Weld. Aidan O'Brien said in the aftermath: "The last day at Cork I thought she was coming there to win, and maybe the shorter trip suited her and I'd say she's progressing as well. "We'll look for a Group race now, maybe something like the Dance Design. Seamie gave her a lovely ride, and she kept on well." STEWARDS REPORT * C.D. Hayes, rider of Corail trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the ground. Additional reporting by Alan Magee
