Pat Doyle's Myrons was a good winner of the concluding maiden hunters chase in Tramore under Evan Dwan.
The 5/4 favourite made stylish headway to come through and lead off the bend on the run to the penultimate fence.
He travelled well and jumped that fence three lengths to the good and was asked to go and win his race before the last. Super Citizen made inroads into his lead and looked a danger at the last, however, Myrons still had enough in the tank to come in by two and a quarter lengths.
Super Citizen was an 11/4 chance for Eugene and Maxine O'Sullivan.
Pat Doyle said: "It was a grand performance, it was an average race. He is a grand horse and wants nice ground. Unfortunately in Cork the last day the ground was soft down the back.
"We might consider going to Doncaster with him next week for the sales. He would be an ideal horse for England on nice ground.
"He is rated 102 here and will probably get a couple of pounds for that. It's very competitive in this country."
This was Dwan's second track success.
