Harley Dunne gave Young Ambition a well-judged ride to take the last at Wexford, the Prince Flori New To Knockhouse Stud Mares Bumper, for trainer John Clifford.
Sent off at 14/1, the 5yo daughter of Heron Island improved to lead six furlongs from home and she was kicked on by Dunne four furlongs out.
The Willie Mullins trained newcomer Robina Mae (9/4f) under Patrick Mullins attempted to chase her down as they turned into the straight but the winner kept on well to record a two and a quarter length success from the favourite in second.
The front pair went twelve lengths clear of Ellaway Rose who finished back in third at 25/1 under James Walsh for John Kenny.
The winner finished second on her first two starts in bumpers at Limerick, behind Girl In Blue on her debut and Noveau Milan on her next start.
Last time out she finished a well beaten fourth at Gowran in the bumper won by Kymin’s Way however her trainer had an excuse for that lacklustre effort.
Clifford, who trains in Inistioge, Co Kilkenny, said afterwards: "She was unlucky a few times and she was sick the last day she ran.
"She’ll go for a maiden hurdle but maybe not this season as it will depend on the ground."
Harley Dunne was recording his first track winner since recently turning amateur.
