Drunken Sailor from the Paul Flynn stable followed up on his recent win at Galway after he came home in front of the McEnery Cup Handicap in the hands of the very capable Padraig Beggy.
Beggy raced his mount in behind the leaders, improved to challenge approaching straight, took up the lead from over 1 1/2f out and under a strong drive by Beggy the pair kept on well to hold off the fast finishing Mutaderek from the Joanna Morgan stable by ½ length.
Winning trainer Paul Flynn was not present.
