Summerseat Dream made her first start in handicap company a winning one when running out a convincing winner at Tipperary.

Tom Madden tucked in behind the leaders in the five-furlong handicap before making ground up running to the furlong pole.

The Jessica Harrington-trained daughter of Dream Ahead got to the front inside the final furlong to record a two-length win over Iceni

The 9/1 winner had finished well beaten in four maiden starts previously.

“I rode her the last when Jessie gave me a feel for her. First time in a handicap today you had to give her some chance,” said Madden.

“She travelled great and the only worry was getting home as she hasn't been getting home in her last couple of races. Jessie did a great job with her and it's great.

“It's tacky out there and hard work for Flat horses.

“Things are going great. That's two winners now this year for Jessie and a few more would be nice.”
